We have three key areas: Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Content Marketing. Role Overview:
As a Product Marketing Manager at Commusoft, you lead the strategy and execution of product marketing initiatives, focusing on driving new business acquisition and product-led growth (PLG) across the US and UK markets. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, content marketing, and client success, to ensure product messaging and positioning align with business goals and meet the needs of our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
You manage the Product Content Marketing Specialist, overseeing their work and fostering growth while contributing directly to successful product launches and campaigns. Your role requires strategic thinking, market research expertise, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that drive adoption, revenue growth, and market leadership.
What you’ll do:
Product Marketing Strategy and Execution:
Product Messaging & Positioning: Craft and refine messaging that effectively communicates value propositions and resonates with ICPs in both markets.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for product and feature launches, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
PLG Initiatives: Lead cross-sell and upsell strategies for PLG products like sales, fleet, and SMS add-ons, driving adoption and revenue growth.
Market Research: Conduct win-loss interviews, case studies, competitive analysis, and surveys to identify market trends, customer needs, personas, and VPs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with product management to align marketing efforts with product release timelines and priorities.
Work closely with sales teams to develop sales enablement materials that enhance effectiveness, reduce the sales cycle, and improve conversion rates.
Collaborate with content marketing and demand generation teams to translate product messaging into compelling assets that support campaigns and drive leads.
Coordinate with client success to leverage PLG strategies and ensure alignment on customer engagement efforts
Team Management:
Oversee the Product Content Marketing Specialist, ensuring they deliver high-quality content that supports product marketing goals.
Delegation & supervision: Assign responsibilities, monitor day-to-day performance, and provide guidance on priorities and deadlines.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure continued growth and success.
Training & Development: Mentor the team, identify upskilling opportunities, and support career development.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Participate in hiring processes and ensure smooth onboarding for new team members.
Project Ownership & Execution:
Manage and execute product launches, ensuring clear goals, deliverables, and timelines.
Lead the creation of client testimonials and case studies to support marketing and sales.
Oversee the development of persona-based content that informs strategies and ensures relevance.
Own marketing campaigns that drive growth, improve ICP targeting and expand into new verticals.

Salary & Benefits
The base salary is $85,000. Other elements of your compensation include:
Gym membership contribution - Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance - 20 days of PTO + 11 national holidays - 5 paid sick days - Simple IRA (equivalent to a 401K) - Snacks in the office - Social events - Focus on continuous training and access to conferences.
And you’d probably like to know that we have a hybrid working model (10 days a month in the office) but it is an open door so feel free to come in more if you'd like! Please note that for the first month you will be required to come in full-time 8am-5pm. We are based in Fulton Market, Chicago.
